About me
I was born and live in Lviv — a city where creativity seems to live in the air itself. It teaches you to notice beauty in the smallest details: in old facades, in the morning light on cobblestones, in unexpected color combinations. Perhaps that’s why I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember.
As a child, I knitted, drew, and explored many forms of handmade art. I was always drawn not just to making things, but to truly understanding materials — feeling how they behave, how they respond. Even in a field that surprises many — aeromodelling — I became a champion. That experience taught me precision, patience, and the value of craftsmanship at the highest level.
But I found my true calling later.
For over 10 years now, I’ve been working with felt — not just as a craft, but as a language through which I express myself. I am especially passionate about nuno felting — the delicate art of bonding wool with silk. There is something almost magical in this process: soft merino wool fuses into flowing silk, creating a living, breathable fabric that is never the same twice.
I am very particular about the materials I use. Only the finest: Margilan silk with its noble texture, the softest merino wool, and carefully selected sheep locks sourced from the best producers around the world. For me, it’s essential that every piece is not only beautiful, but deeply felt — something you experience, not just wear.
Over the years, I have created more than 2,000 felted scarves, now living in wardrobes across the world — from private collections to remarkable stages. My pieces have been worn by members of the Kennedy family, they have shone on the stage of La Scala, and the studio Paramount Pictures purchased 17 of my shawls for the series “Sugar.”
And yet, what matters most to me hasn’t changed: that moment when raw fibers transform into something with soul. Each shawl carries its own story, its own mood, its own movement.
I don’t just make scarves — I create textile art you can wear.
