A shawl that looks as if it grew rather than was made. Ivory and cream fabric is run through with charcoal and soft ochre veins, and along the edges — and across the surface — curls of unspun wool are felted in, keeping their natural spiral.
The edge is deliberately uneven and organic: no straight hem, no symmetry, the outline follows the wool itself. Together with the open, airy structure this gives the piece a wild, slightly untamed look, while the fabric stays light and soft to the touch.
Made by nuno felting — merino wool felted directly into silk — so the shawl warms without weight and drapes freely over the shoulders. Pale enough to work as a wedding or evening wrap, textured enough to carry a plain outfit on its own.

Yours is created for you in the same materials, colours and technique — close in spirit and palette, but never an exact copy: hand felting cannot be repeated identically, and that is precisely what makes every piece one of a kind.
Materials: merino wool, silk (including Margilan silk), silk fibres, viscose, eucalyptus viscose (Tencel), nettle fibre and decorative fibres.
Care: hand wash in warm water with a mild wool detergent. Do not wring. Dry flat. Avoid sharp temperature changes between washing and rinsing. May be ironed if needed, at the wool setting.
