This large nuno felted shawl is created from fine merino wool and delicate silk, felted together into a single airy fabric. Deep rust, copper and ochre flow across a dark base, so the piece changes character depending on how the light falls on it.
The palette is borrowed from autumn: rusted iron, warm amber, faded moss and hints of crimson, all resting on near-black.
Despite its generous size, the wrap stays light and drapes softly. It can be worn over the shoulders as an evening wrap, wound loosely as a scarf, or thrown over a simple black dress as a statement piece.
Made from natural fibers using traditional wet felting techniques — warm without weight, and gentle on the skin.
✨ A one-of-a-kind gift for women who love art, nature and slow fashion.
Made to order. The photographs show a piece that has already found its owner. Yours is created for you in the same materials, colours and technique — close in spirit and palette, but never an exact copy: hand felting cannot be repeated identically, and that is precisely what makes every piece one of a kind.
Materials: merino wool, silk (including Margilan silk), silk fibres, viscose, eucalyptus viscose (Tencel), nettle fibre and decorative fibres.
Care: hand wash in warm water with a mild wool detergent. Do not wring. Dry flat. Avoid sharp temperature changes between washing and rinsing. May be ironed if needed, at the wool setting.
